Any school, college, community group, charity, sports club, residents’ association, faith group, Scout or Guide group, local council, or other non-profit organisation in Northern Ireland can apply for free trees. The trees are delivered in November. Applications are now open for trees to be delivered in November 2026.
Applications are expected to close in August 2026, but they may close earlier if all available trees are allocated. You’ll usually hear back within eight weeks about whether your application has been successful.
• Free packs contain either 30 or 105 saplings.
• You can request up to 4 packs, with a maximum of 420 trees in total
