CACD was pleased to take part in the final event of Cooperation Ireland’s 2026 Circle of Learning project at The Navan Centre, Armagh.
We would like to thank Cooperation Ireland for their funding and support, which enabled this project to take place and provided an opportunity for groups to come together, share learning and develop connections.
We also extend our thanks to all the groups who participated in the project for their time, commitment and valuable contributions throughout the programme.
We appreciate the involvement of everyone who helped deliver the project and recognise the positive impact of the shared learning and collaboration created through the Circle of Learning initiative.
Our group of participants are pleased to be at Brownlow Castle taking part in a workshop and exhibition on the Great Famine in Ireland Myth’s and Facts with guest speaker Anthony Russell.
A wonderful day was had by David, James, and members of the groups taking part in the Cooperation Circle of Learning Project.
A huge thank you to Blayney Blades and Castleblayney Tidy Towns for hosting the event in Mindzenty Park, Castleblayney. We are also very grateful to the lovely Muckno Singers choir who entertained us with their fantastic performance and helped make the day so special.

CACD are pleased to be taking part in Cooperation Ireland’s Circle of Learning project. To date, our Development Workers and the four community groups we are working with have attended Dundalk’s networking event in Dunleer in April, and Newry’s visit to Lislea Men’s Shed in May.
During the visit to Dunleer, we toured Dunleer Market House and heard from Mid-Louth Youth Service about their work and Action Plan. We also met with the Sustainable Energy Community Team, who shared their journey of upgrading energy efficiency and developing the Northeast Climate Centre at the Community House.
CACD participated in a study visit to Lislea Community Centre, Newry. We took part in a brilliant interactive session using creative materials and activities to encourage learning, connection, and wellbeing. We enjoyed the opportunity to learn together in such a positive and engaging atmosphere. Thank you to everyone involved!
