Researchers at Ulster University are investigating the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on access to sport and physical activity opportunities for children and young people. As part of our research we need parents of children aged 4-16 years to complete a short, anonymous survey on sport and physical activity opportunities for children and young people during the cost-of-living crisis. I wondered if it would be possible for your organisation to share the study poster and link on your social media feeds please or feature this research opportunity in some way? (https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/ulster/cost-of-living).
We are really keen that a diverse range of people from across NI have their voice heard and this project will for the first time, outline how the cost-of-living crisis is impacting on the sport and physical activity opportunities parents and children in NI. This data will be important for making recommendations on how to maintain children’s access to physical activity during periods of economic downturn.
