Over the last few years, NICVA and RCN have been hearing about issues that voluntary and community organisations have been having with their bank accounts.
Some organisations have had difficulty opening accounts, others have been frustrated when trying to update information and RCN has been gathering evidence from our membership and through the Rural Support Networks and feeding this into NICVA.
Denise Copeland of NICVA has been part of a UK wide working group which has been trying to communicate the issues to the banks. As part of this work NICVA are conducting research to ascertain if organisations are still encountering problems with their banks so we can continue to advocate for better banking services for voluntary organisations.
If you have the time, it would be greatly appreciated if you could complete the survey by 15 May to let us know about your banking experience.
