A public consultation on a proposed new Religious Education (RE) Core Syllabus for Northern Ireland has launched today.
The consultation will run until 30 September 2026, and all documentation, including an online questionnaire, is hosted on the DE website.
The Drafting Group is particularly keen to hear from Section 75 groups to ensure that the syllabus reflects the needs of all children and young people and supports fairness, accessibility and opportunity across the system.
Your views will play an important role in shaping a syllabus that works for all learners.
