Apply for a school or community grant to plant trees, orchards and hedgerows in your community in the UK this winter 2024/25.

Funding details:

  • Awards from £250 to £2,500
  • The Tree Council will cover 100% of the award (i.e. match funding is not a requirement), including non-recoverable VAT
  • Full details of the application criteria can be found in our Application Guidance
  • The grant will be paid AFTER planting has taken place and upon submission of a Completion Report

As funding is limited, we strongly encourage early applications in order to:
a) increase the chances of a grant being awarded
b) ensure that planting can take place as early as possible in the tree planting season to support successful tree establishment
c) ensure that your supplier still has stock of your preferred plants

Application closing date:

Midnight on Sunday 1 December 2024 (end of National Tree Week)
